This Thursday, October 18th, On The Dot will be hosting a See it to Be it Success Summit at Vintage Villas in Austin, Texas. The event will be jam-packed with a bunch of awesome panelists discussing all the stuff we women need to know about succeeding in our careers.
Here are five reasons why you've got to come to our event:
- You'll get to meet awesome people doing things you've always wanted to do.
...but that you've never had the guts to do. Ever wanted to run for office in your state, but you didn't have a clue about how to get started? Or maybe you've been thinking for a while now about ditching your day job to start your own company, but you just don't know where to get the tools to do so.
Ladies, this is what we mean when you've got to see it to be it. Former Texas senator Wendy Davis will teach you how to make real change on a local and federal level, and Kelly Gasink of Austin Cocktails will show you that the tools you need to start your own business have actually been in your life all along.
To do everything your role models are doing and more, you've got to learn from the best.
2. You'll get free swag just for attending.
What kind of free swag, you ask? Well, I can't tell you. I can't give all our secrets away! I guess you'll just have to come and see for yourself.
What I can promise you is our swag will make you feelin' stylish as hell.
3. Brooklyn Decker will be there.
That's reason enough, isn't it?
4. The venue is pretty freakin' beautiful.
Vintage Villas overlooks Austin's historic Lake Travis and boasts floor-to-ceiling, picturesque windows in each room, making the space super bright and warm. At sunset, you kind of feel like you're at your dream wedding, even if you aren't married or single AF.
If the weather is nice the day of the event, we'll all be chatting a bunch, drinks in hand, alongside the water. And FYI: Austin Octobers are usually fantastic weather-wise, but I'll let you experience that first-hand.
5. You'll get major FOMO if you don't come.
Don't suffer from FOMO! You know On The Dot will be posting pictures on Instagram live all day and all evening and, well, it'd be a darn shame if you were sadly watching all the action happen from your computer or phone.
Don't miss out, y'all! You can still buy tickets here.
